Re-branding an already successful ski holiday company
Undertaking a re-branding is no easy task. You have to be sure that the company or product will actually benefit from a new
identity and not turn away valuable custom or eat heavily into the marketing budget.
After meeting with the core team at Premiere Neige and discussing their business and project requirements we found that they did
need to re-position their company's brand.
The previous branding had not kept up with their company values and services - high-quality chalet-based ski holidays - and was
holding them back from attracting new customers in the corporate sector.
Based exclusively in Sainte Foy, Première Neige has begun to own more chalets, recently purchasing one ideal for corporate
customers.
Early on in the re-branding process we made a conscious decision to not create something completely different from what existed
at the time. Our priority was to create an identity that would be familiar to existing customers and interesting enough to new
ones.
The original identity used two key elements: a mountain and a star. The star is used in the Sainte Foy resort identity and
because of their close relationship, Première Neige are also using it.
We retained these elements in our designs, only modifying the style of the mountain to create an identity that is clean, stylish and memorable.
